Beyond the Screen: Relational Youth Ministry in an Age of Networks

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

According to sociologists, networked individualism is a new social operating system that drives teenagers’ love/hate obsession with social media and undergirds the kind of thin relationality all of us increasingly pursue. In this seminar we’ll explore the implications of networked individualism for youth ministry and consider ways that youth workers can foster relationships beyond mere connection.
