Short-term missions remain a popular practice for youth groups, but immigration is bringing the world to our front door. The biblical concept of hospitality pushes a missional focus into our everyday choices, and it interrupts our lives. We speak of justice or outreach, but there are limits to what that looks like when they inconvenience or invade our own personal goals and desires. What are the theological challenges to how we do missions and justice in our youth ministries? What are some best practices to overcome those challenges?
