Red-Letter Christianity: What if Jesus Really Meant the Stuff He Said?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A lot of old Bibles have the words of Jesus highlighted in red: “Love your enemies.” “Sell what you have and give it to the poor.” Have you ever wondered how the world might look if we lived as if we believed that Jesus really meant the stuff he said? Gandhi once said that he loved Jesus and just wished Christians took him more seriously. Too often, Christians don’t look very much like Christ. When we lose the centrality of Jesus, we end up talking about things Jesus didn't say much about, and we don't talk about the things Jesus talked a whole lot about. Imagine if every Christian were more committed to Jesus than to their favorite candidate or political party. This session is for those who want to see a Christianity that looks more like Jesus.
